No training this week...training on Jan 5th

Happy Christmas all!

We are not training this week.

Training will recommence on 5th at Morriston School at 11am.

We have our first match back on the 14th January against North Wales (South) at Newtown RFC at 10.30am.

We will travel up on the Friday night and stay locally. Since we are in the Cup competition for real now, we will be making our first "selection". So it is likely we will take around 20 boys maximum.

Parents are very welcome to join us on the coach and at our accommodation, but I will leave these arrangements to individuals. I will post the details on the site during next week.

Wednesday 7 December 2011

Training on Thursday, game on Saturday, game next Wednesday

Training as usual on Thursday and then playing Bridgend A on Saturday morning. Then playing Aberavon on Wednesday away. Aberavon are in our part of the draw for the Dewar Shield.  This game is after Christmas.

Friday 2 December 2011

Well done again on Wednesday

Another good game against Bridgend A, with a victory. Again, the manner of play was more important. Great contact skills and plenty of ambition. Remember the Bridgend boys had not played together and were disrupted in the last quarter of the match with players out of position. On the other hand, we played with style and looked to work on our key policies.

We are due to play them again a week on Saturday, and then Aberavon potentially the week after.

We have been drawn against the following teams in the Amdhal Bowl, to be played after Christmas. All these teams came last or 5th in their groups.

Round 1 - January 14th
N W West v Aberavon
N W South v Swansea A

Round 2 - January 28th
Swansea A v N W West
Aberavon v N W South

Round 3 - February 4th
Aberavon v Swansea A
N W South v N W West
